COMMUNITY NEED

The Hope food Pantry provides food and food supplies to individuals and families in the Austin Community, within a four block radius of Hope Community Church. The neighborhood consists of low and middle income families, which include large families, senior citizens, disabled veterans, those released from prison, homeless individuals, and families with one or both parents serving in the armed forces.


MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission statement of the Hope Food Pantry is to provide food and food supplies to the needy. When we are unable to meet needs, we will refer our clients to other community agencies who are able to assist them.


H O U R S  O F  O P E R A T I O N

The food pantry is a ministry of Hope Community  Church. The pantry will be open on Saturday's between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Food supplies will be distributed from the JAM house, located at 5912 West Iowa Stree, Chicago, Illinois 60651. The ministry is self-supporting through contributions from individuals, community agencies and foundations.

Anyone demonstrating a need is eligible to receive food and food supplies. All recipients must have proper I.D.
